Is a simple ski lodge stay, with a cute restaurant/ bar & a common room. Beautiful area around MAGIC mountain. Not the newest, and worked well for our night stay!

Die Familiensuite war sehr geräumig, die Mitarbeiter wirklich freundlich. Allerdings war in den Airbnb Beschreibungen unter Service ein Frühstück inklusive angekündigt worden. Das gab es nicht, wird wochentags auch nicht angeboten. Der Manager wusste nicht davon, kümmerte sich aber freundlich und großzügig um eine Entschädigung. Das war sehr entgegenkommend.

What can I say? I spent a month at the Upper Pass Lodge and it was such a great experience. The purpose of my trip was to have an escape from NYC where I could work remotely. I booked a month on a whim based on and incredible rate, and the stay exceeded my expectations. I stayed in the family suite, even though I'm just one person. I had a great deck to work with and enjoy the autumn weather. The extra beds allowed me to have some friends visit overnight, which was great. The location is great, and I loved stepping out in the mornings to look at the beauty of Magic Mountain. There's wonderful hiking right around the corner and outside the lodge itself! The restaurant is excellent, with a different special every night. $8 for an awesome burger on Wednesdays! It's easy to pull up a seat at the bar and start a conversation with the other patrons or the bartender. All the food and drinks are affordable and everything tastes better than some of the "fancy" overpriced places nearby. One of the biggest highlights of the trip was the staff. Vince runs a great ship and is always there if you need him. Everyone from the housekeeping to the bartending staff is friendly and you can tell they love working at the lodge and for Vince. Furthermore, there are regulars that continue to come back, both for the restaurant and the lodging itself. For those looking for a luxury experience, keep in mind you're not going to get the big flatscreen TV and the minibar, but if you're staying here, you should be experiencing and celebrating the beautiful nearby scenery. Besides, you can get about 200+ channels. That's more than enough! One thing I could have used was a mini fridge, but that's only because I was there for a long stay. I was able to keep a cooler on the porch with some small items on ice from the ice machine. There's plenty of good coffee and food in the area. Overall, the experience was lovely, and I can't wait to come back! It would be wonderful to come in the winter and take advantage of that fireplace!
