We had a lovely stay, it’s in a stunning location with wonderful views across the loch. We saw red squirrels, a seal and a badger. The house is very well equipped.
The place is absolutely beautiful, we had a wonderful stay in such a lovely location. The wildlife is incredible & the host supplies nuts & seeds to encourage them more. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and place very clean. The log burner makes it cosy and restful. The host provided us with lots of recommendations & can't do enough to help. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Can't say enough good things about this gem of a stay. The surroundings are beautiful, the home is cozy and clean, and both Eleanor and our local host Eileen were so responsive and helpful. We'll absolutely be back!
idyllic and peaceful location just what we wanted after 2 weeks exploring. Eleanor was very helpful with information for finding the cottage and our local host Eileen was fantastic. the views from every window are stunning and we had lots of little visitors which were fun to watch. thank you Eleanor for letting us stay at your wonderful home

My mother's family connections to Loch Goil go back 6 generations and I have been visiting the Loch all my life. My father, like myself an architect, designed and built the house in 1976. I have loved coming here as a child, teenager and adult - at all the different stages of my life I have found the nature, scenery, wildness and peace has had so much to give in all seasons. We hope you derive as much a we do from this very special location in the Argyll National park. We find it endlessly fascinating and its beauty, fresh air, strikes us anew every time we are there.
