Amazing place in the middle of nowhere. Jacuzzi, sauna, pool, barbecue - everything at your disposal. The only issue we had was with humidity but I guess it’s always like this in Portugal.

Sandra's great experience and organizational skills were noted which, together with the use of excellent quality services and furniture, allowed us to always have everything available, almost like at home, without the need to interface by telephone or physically. The only flaw is the seventh bed: the sofa bed is not at the level of everything else. Therefore, ivale is in my opinion a perfect accommodation for 6 people, only good for 7.

Sandra's place is a true gem! I stayed here for just three nights this January (not long enough) and the small home is cozy, charming and feels like a magical getaway in the middle of the oldest village in the area. The house itself is not large but filled with old-world character despite having been renovated with modern amenities; they have a book showing the before, during and after of the renovation, it's quick something!. The grounds are gorgeous, the pool surrounded by nature and the hot tub was amazing in the brisk winter morning. Know that the house is in an old village where many of the structures are nothing but stone walls outlines, while some are still occupied; there's really nothing here but that's what makes it so special, take a walk around. The sizable town of Pombal is just 10 mins away with plenty of restaurants and amenities - we really enjoyed going to town to have more of a "regular" experience than somewhere touristy.
