We spent a fantastic week at Barbera's place in Vagia. It is the most gorgeous villa - the master bedroom and the whole downstairs area (as well as the pool) were the standout features for us. Very peaceful and relaxing, which is just what we were looking for. We were very lucky with the weather, and we were just outside the main holiday season. A little difficult to find at first, but probably no bad thing as it adds to the seclusion. I'd say a car was absolutely essential to get to supermarkets etc, and it was a very straightforward and quick (20 min) drive into the main port which is gorgeous. All in all I can't recommend too highly.

La maison de Barbara est impeccable et très bien entretenue. Tout est d’une propreté irréprochable . La piscine est divine, la chambre principale très agréable avec une vue magnifique sur la mer au réveil . Tout fonctionne parfaitement bien et il y a assez de place pour un grand groupe . Barbara a été très réactive ainsi que le personnel qui s’occupe de la propreté et le bon fonctionnement de la maison . Elle est visiblement très appréciée dans le coin, nous avons été très bien reçues partout . Ses indications et conseils nous ont permis de profiter bien de l’île . Nous recommandons la maison de Barbara ! Et reviendrons certainement, avec grand plaisir .

Fantastisk hus og beliggenhet rett på stranden. Basseng og lounge området var supert. Det var hetebølge når vi var der så savnet aircondition på soverommet og i bungalower, ble mange myggstikk.

Magnifique villa, dans un endroit idyllique, sur la plage, calme et apaisante, spacieuse et moderne, décorée avec goût! Idéale pour un break ! On y retournerait avec grand plaisir!

A beautiful house with possibly the most beautiful pool we have seen. The views are also wonderful. Though some of the rooms in the house are on the small side, we had pretty much everything we needed and the bungalows were much lovelier than we expected, with their own outdoor shower and toilet. The location is good, with the tavernas nearby and ruins not far to walk. The only reason I've marked it down was because there are nicer beaches elsewhere on the island (it seems that unfortunately some plastic does come across from Athens) Having said that, the house and pool are so great that it really outweighs that negative.
