A long-time dream came true when I was finally able purchase an older authentic swedish farm right by the ocean! I am in a way "coming back home" after residing in the United States for the past 30 years. Now I feel like I get the best of both worlds. 8th year as a host and I am really looking forward to meet a lot of you traveling folks. I will do my very best to make sure that You will have a Great experience here. I ask You to pls read each description of the different living options I can offer You so that we both are pleased. I welcome families and children and all the rest of you that enjoy nature and simplicity, if You want to have the city life at your door step, AC and room service, I kindly ask you to keep looking! Property is not far from the city centre but it's about a 30-min brisk beautiful walk or 10 min bike ride and there’s also a very charming public boat that will take you there:) We are right next door to a bird sanctuary and the field outside your windows get visited by all sorts of amazing swedish 2-legged and 4-legged 'creatures':) The farm is one of Varberg's 18 oldest properties from the early 1800-s originally and it's been beautifully restored and kept it's authenticity. One of the options 'Gammelstuan' is kept in it's original element and the actual stamped soil floor is under the newer wood floor but the ceiling height is low as it was in all farm houses back then. All options are clean and fresh as that's my most important requirement when I rent myself...I don't like dust in the corners:)) and I appreciate guests that live by the same values to care your best for my place as You do Your own. I charge a small cleaning fee as I will do the main cleaning after that You leave so it's meeting my standards for the next guests. You will take care of your waste and just general tidying up after yourself and try your best leaving it clean as well pls. The ocean is right outside your door here and You can be at the beach or in the water within 10 min:) OR You can sit and gaze at it all day long:)) All my living options here have a shared facility where the shower/bath is located but it’s never more then 5 here at the same time and more often 2-3, so it’s usually very quiet and not busy anywhere. Embrace life and appreciate all the natural and little things nature has to offer and more then anything, pls have a positive attitude!!! I have a real hard time with grumpy personalities...Life is too short! Welcome Friends
