Perfect location to everything. We arrived in the summer heat to find that you were unable to use the air conditioning during the night and that they suggested we open the window. Absolutely absurd as it was extremely hot and no breeze coming in. The first night we were eaten alive by mosquitoes and ended up having to turn on the air conditioning and shut the windows. But skeptical as I had read previous reviews saying it had been turned off randomly in the night by the owner. The staircase isn’t for the faint hearted so beware if you have big bags. The fridge also had a lot of mould inside of it which put us off from using it. The linen and towels had seen better days and could do with an upgrade. The older lady didn’t speak English so found it difficult to communicate but she was very lovely. Good spot if you aren’t planning on spending much time in the room.

Pros: Adica’s place is located perfectly within the city, minutes’ walk away from the bus station, harbour and the promenade. The house is clean, has a stove and the fridge and a tv. Adica’s mom doesn’t speak English but she is a very sweet lady trying to ensure we were comfortable. Cons: The only con, which might apply to staying in Stari Grad in general, if you are a light sleeper the church bells ring every half hour probably and you can hear a few of them from different locations at the same time while sleeping. I personally didn’t mind but it is something we were unaware of.

We loved staying in this studio right in the old town. The room is simple and exactly as described, close to everything while being in a quiet location. Well equipped kitchen and nice mattresses, even for my husband who tends to be more picky with those :-). We met Adica, her daughters and her mother, and all were wonderful hosts. We will always remember the delicious, honey sweet figs that Adica's mother so kindly gave us. All in all, I would definitely recommend!

We spent a wonderful time at this place. Adica and her husband were really awesome hosts, always helpful and cheerful, we felt ourselves at home. The apartment was cosy and clean and it was located in one of the most beautiful parts of Stari Grad. Our stay couldn't be better.
