The best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Friendly staff, very proactive, amazing breakfast service. I didn’t have the the dinner service, but the menu listed looked wonderful. They also sell homemade ice cream and it was amazing. If I ever return to Santiago, it’ll be contingent on me being able to stay at Vivian’s place— I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
Vivian’s penthouse was just as advertised. The view is spectacular and her team went out of their way to accommodate us. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you, Vivian

Splendid place to spend time while in Santiago de Cuba. My family rented the entire house (7 rooms) and couldn't be more pleased with all it had to offer. It's a beautiful space and I consider myself fortunate to have spent time there. Clean, well decorated and spacious. Rafael the owner was a pleasure to meet- a picture of professionalism. Lázaro the manager also very professional, was very knowledgeable and responsive to our needs. He also provided us with ideas and directions of what to see within the city and the best route for driving to Camaguey. Sandra who met us at got us settled in at 1am was incredibly accommodating and I'm forever in her debt. Parking is available right next door for 2 or 3 cuc. The food was excellent!
Vivian offers seven really nice rooms in her stylish casa in San Diego. Despite our late arrival due to a delayed plane, she welcomed us warmly and offered to make snacks, even although it was late already. Breakfast and lunch are excellent. It might also be interesting to note there is a guarded parking really close to Vivian‘s house.

The Colonial House 1893 is located in a very central area of the city, which is called Casco Histórico. For this reason we are just a few meters from the main places of interest for national and foreign tourists, such as the Cathedral, Céspedes Park, Casa de Diego Velázques, Casa de la Trova, Rum Museum and Carnival museum. It is a very nice place from where the guests can know by walk the whole downtonwn, as it is close to artesany centers, nightclubs, restaurants, paladares, cafes, galleries, museums, cinemas, hotels, shops, ice-cream parlors, WIFI parks, and others.
If the guest has a vehicle, it could be parked 5 meters from the House, in an official parking with caretakers who charge an average rate of 2 cuc per night and 1 cuc per day. If the customer does not want to pay for this service, he can park the car in Sánchez Hechavarría st., the one that is located in front of the house. As we has been expressed in other points, the house is very central, allowing to the customer to move in downtown by walk, without the need of a car. In addition, in order to move to places farther from the center of the city, the public transportation can be used, or, preferably, the taxis recommended by the hosts of the House, which will offer a better service adapted to the individual needs of each client.
