I worked nights so we didn’t have a lot of interaction, just coming and going, but they were always friendly. The room is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is separate so I always felt bad needing to use it at night since they were sleeping. I’d recommend booking the basement room if you work nights.

I stayed at John and Sheryl’s on my trip back to Crete for my 30 year reunion. I traveled alone and pretty much met up with my old friends the entire weekend so we rarely saw each other. The house is set back off the road giving a quiet and peaceful place for me to sleep. I could come and go as much as I needed via the key access. My room had a private bath, closet, dresser and desk, more than I needed for my 4 day stay. Everything was clean and perfect. Plenty of usb charging available in the room and the skylights reminded me of living in the forest. Great stay, I highly recommend. Jon and Sheryl have lived in the area for many years so they are very familiar with it. I’m very sure they would be happy to recommend anything needed.

John & Sheryl and their pup “Indigo “ were absolutely amazing hosts . Their home is beautiful. Very clean and roomy . The price was great for what you get. I would definitely stay again if in town .

If in the area, I would definitely try to book this place again. If you want somewhere peaceful and comfortable for a good price, this is it.
