It was nice staying at Evora cottage. Cozy, comfortable and warm.
Overall a really love stay! Place was very much as described and beautiful surroundings. Not very private as the other 2 cottages are door-to-door with the cottage you stay in, we could hear everything from next door (including footsteps). Amenities were perfect. We used the fridge to stock our own breaky for 1 morning and the kitchen had all utensils, etc. that we needed. Split system heating and cooling was a win, BYO firewood for the fireplace. TV was all set up with Netflix which was great. Spa bath got a great workout over the weekend, a definite highlight! Only complaint would be the doona situation, I despise how air bnbs/hotels are now doing a bare doona wrapped in 2 flat sheets, it comes undone and gets all tangled. The doona itself was pilling and gross so not nice when the sheets came undone. MUCH simpler to have a normal doona and doona cover - please reconsider doing this as I would 1000% return here again but BYO doona because it was very frustrating
If charming and quaint is your style, then this is the place for you. A blissfully peaceful and private cottage located in beautiful surrounds. Immaculately clean and excellently appointed with all the basic amenities. The bed was made up beautifully, it felt homey and full of character, and the photos don't do the well sized sparkling hot tub justice. Easy to find and access, and the host was considerate and responsive. Exceeded all expectations - even with a storm and complete blackout. Would love to visit again in the winter and make use of the cosy looking fireplace. 12/10.
Wonderful 3 nights. Easy to get to where we needed to go and lots of places to explore close by.
We loved staying at this place, clean , tidy , the spa was great. If people are looking for a nice quiet romantic place for a weekend , then this is the place . There some great restaurants in either direction . The host are fantastic , the Nickett’s were helpful and polite. I am a qualified travel consultant and have traveled the world stayed at some of the worse hotels and Airbnbs . These cottages are great. Do I recommend this place. Most definitely .
