Nanda's place was as described. It's big and very roomy. We were a group of 6 adults and 2 children and there in January during quite a cold spell and the house was very comfortable. Nanda was very responsive to all our questions. There were extra blankets readily available when we asked and Peter helped with questions about various facilities. The kitchen has good facilities. A large gas stove and some good quality cookware that we used most days was very appreciated. Public transport is also extremely handy. 20m to the bus stop into Amsterdam and about 50m to the bus on the opposite side of the road for the stop back. It's a short bus ride and a train into Amsterdam and 2 buses to the airport. We found a confusing array of transport cards but settled on some 3 day unlimited travel cards available at Harleem station that worked in Amsterdam and the leg back to our bus stop. Overall very happy with our stay.

A wonderfully cozy place to stay! Very peaceful and great for bird watching! Shops close by with a lively welcoming atmosphere. Train station is a 6 minute drive away!

The property is a true oasis and exceeded our expectations. The welcoming basket of goodies was a pleasant surprise upon our arrival and much appreciated. Peter and Nanda had been very responsive to our equiries prior to and after our arrival. Rooms and living areas are spacious and kept very clean. The kitchen was well stocked and equipped, and we cooked many meals during our stay. The town nearby is very convenient for groceries and other amenities. We could feel the care and attention Peter and Nanda had put into the property and had taken great lengths to make our group feel very much at home during the stay. We highly recommend this property for families and groups. Our experience had proven that the negative review by some have been unfounded. Thank you Peter and Nanda for having us and my group look forward to return to your place on our next trip to the Aalsmeer trade shows.

Nanda and Peter took the time to greet us at their home when we arrived. It was wonderful to finally meet them after communicating with them over the past several months as we made plans for our trip to the Netherlands! We were five friends traveling together, and staying in their home truly gave us the experience of living the Dutch life! We each had our own room and the home was well equipped with everything we needed, especially the kitchen! The quaint town of Heemstede is only a two block walk, so we enjoyed some of the wonderful shops and restaurants there. What a lovely neighborhood! We had a couple of questions during our stay and Peter and Nanda always responded quickly and with helpful information. We felt like part of the neighborhood by the time we left!

Beautiful house in a lovely neighborhood. The house was well stocked. Nanda and Peter met us on arrival and provided recommendations and a welcome basket with food and wine! We had a great time and loved the place. Bus stop is right out front or 20 minute walk to the train station. Bikes were provided. A gorgeous garden and patio out back for relaxing. Very nice indeed.
