Three bedrooms with beds for up to 6 people, two bathrooms, an open kitchen and an amazing living room from where one can enjoy the fantastic views of the Pitusiray-mountain! A high-speed (optical fibre) and limitless wireless internet connection is included free of charge. At the heart of the Sacred Valley, close to all major touristic sites! Casa Samachiy was Inaugurated in April 2015, in the heart of the Sacred Valley of Cusco, Peru. The name Samachiy means "to rest" in the local native Quechua language and the aim was truly to create a place for guests to relax and enjoy the spiritual and peaceful surroundings of the Sacred Valley.

This is an incredible place in an incredible part of the country. We planned to stay 2 weeks but ended up staying 2 months. The house is beautiful with a great garden which gets sun all day long. Carmen and Juberth are wonderful people who helped us with everything, even arranged for a SCOBY and I made great kombucha there. The place is in a quite village Huaran around 11 km from Urubamba. The collectivo runs very frequently to Cusco and Urubamba, so you can completely rely on it. The wifi was great and reliable. All in all it was a perfect place and you can spend months if not years in it :-)
Our family spent one month (including a 2 y/o and a 4 y/o) and we absolutely loved it. The house and the garden is amazing. The views are something you have to experience for yourself. The hospitality and helpful hands of Jubhert and Carmen were way beyond our expectations. We would recommend this place for any travellers looking for a place to stay while exploring the amazing Sacred Valley. Thank you!
My family could not stop praising this find! Lets start with traveling to the house. The hosts were gracious enough to connect us to a local driver, Ferdinand, whose charismatic smile made us immediately aware we were in safe hands. When we arrived we found a home straight out of a storybook, even more inviting than the photos posted on the site. The host explained to us each of the amenities available to us and even threw in a basket of local fruits. My father was a huge fan of their passion fruit! In the morning, we stepped into the backyard that made us realize we were nestled in between two mountains with the sunrise breaking through between them. My brother, an amateur photographer, had a field day with the flowers littering the backyard. I hope you enjoy this slice of heaven as much as my family did.
Kristo's house is a wonderful place to stay in the Urubamba Valley! Kristo and Jubreth were quick to reply and very easy to coordinate with. The house was clean with all the basic necessities (plus some thoughtful extras) and the views from the back garden are breathtaking. The location is a bit secluded, requiring a car to reach most sites and restaurants, but was perfect for us. Highly recommend for groups or families!

Huaran is great as it is really in the heart of the Sacred Valley, close to all major touristic sites but still not in the busy centers where all tourists pass every day. You have easy access to everything but after a long day you get the chance to relax and rest in a calm and quiet surrounding.
A three minute walk to the main road where one can catch a public transport to Calca, Urubamba or even Cuzco. A private driver can also easily be arranged upon request.
