My family and I LOVED Claudine and Alain. They are incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts. We wished we could have spent an entire week at their beautiful chateau. We would recommend their place in a heartbeat and hope to return soon. Also, the best meal we had in France was at a restaurant Claudine recommended!

This is by far the best accommodation we have spent time in during any of our travels. Very clean and eco friendly. The hosts are very down to earth and kind. You feel like you’re staying with friends. They were very patient with our lack of French but we had very good conversations anyway especially as they serve your breakfast with homemade breads and jams. You can walk the property with its beautiful trees and plants. Their dogs are so friendly, well behaved and you can see a donkey and little ram in the pen too! This home is very peaceful and should we return to Ambazac we will be staying with Claudine and Alaine again. Good rest, comfy bed - And what a great price to stay on such a historical property … in a Chateau!!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Claudine et Alain! Nous avons été émerveillé par cet endroit calme, bucolique et chargé d'histoire. Une soirée et une matinée de pur bonheur. La magie opère dès l'arrivée dans ce lieu enchanteur, où l'on a plus envie de repartir! La maison est impeccable, le petit déjeuner délicieux, et les hôtes charmants. Nous n'avons qu'une hâte: revenir!!

We had a wonderful stay in Claudine and Alain’s castle. We received a warm welcome. The family room was beautiful and spacious, with some lovely quirks. At night we listened to the different types of owls that live on the property. My girls loved it! Breakfast was outstanding, home made jams and brioche. Highly recommended!
