Le logement est un hôtel un peu en retrait, situé sur un terrain privé, où il est possible de se promener. Il y a une rivière juste à côté où on peut se baigner. Le site est merveilleux. Le personnel est super accueillant et à l’écoute. La chambre était propre et très spacieuse. Il est possible de manger sur place pour un prix raisonnable. Les repas sont délicieux et servis en mode buffet. Nous sommes déçus de n’être restés qu’une nuit. Avoir su nous serions restés plus longtemps. Je recommande fortement cet endroit.

What a special jungle get away. Family run and very authentic Costa Rica experience complete with home cooked meals. She also set us up on a night walk in the jungle. River right in front where you can fish and swim while the howler monkeys remind you they are there. Wish we could have stayed more than 1 night to explore the property and surroundings more.

We had two nights in the family room at Chilamate and enjoyed the experience. Facilities are basic, but welcoming and friendly. We ate there both nights and it was worth it - the food is excellent, with great choices for both dinner and breakfast. We had a night time tour which was worth every penny - there are so many creatures right outside your door at this place. Crossing the road bridge either by vehicle or on foot is only for the brave!

First of all Meghan is a fantastic host, communicated clearly and promptly from the start. Her and her team went above and beyond in sorting a night walk for us and the breakfast that was included was fantastic. The location is wonderful, peaceful and far enough away from the main road to feel like you are immersed in nature. The only down side was that there was no warm water in the shower, which in hindsight for an eco-retreat may be obvious but after swimming and getting muddy in the cold river that luxury would have been nice - soft westerner! Overall my family and I had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again
