This is a lovely place to stay in Bergamo's Citta Alta. The apartment is located within a beautiful old 'Palazzo', and is furnished with vintage furniture which perfectly complements the surroundings. The views across the old town, and the distant mountains, are absolutely stunning. The palazzo is located metres away from the funicular and dozens of good restaurants and shops, so you are only minutes away from all that the town has to offer. It's a very quiet, peaceful location. If you stay here you won't be disappointed, it's such a nice unique apartment, in a lovely building, in such a great location. Getting around is really easy too. Bergamo has excellent rail and bus connections to many beautiful places to visit. Milan, Brescia and the lakes of Como and Iseo are easily reached. You can even get a bus directly to/from the airport from the old town. The owners are very helpful, and kept us fully informed throughout. They were always very responsive whenever we had questions.

We had a great stay. It's a terrific flat -- spacious, comfortable, and very central to all the things there are to do and see in upper town. And very quiet. Alessandra was a wonderful host, providing a full introduction to the flat and good recommendations on walking routes. Thanks too to Alberto. Oh yes, great views from the bedroom window. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect for exploring the old town and gave us a feel of a ‘real’ home in Citta Alta. Paolo and Allessandra were responsive, helpful and kind. We particularly enjoyed the roof terrace and the views from the apartment! We hope to come back - thank you!

It was a pleasure to stay at this beautiful and unique place. The apartment is as in the photos, honestly, even better. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything required for cooking. The decor creates a wonderful atmosphere and brings comfort. The view from the windows and a private terrace is stunning. The location is also superb - so near to everything yet quiet. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and their recommendations helped us to discover hidden gems in the city. So this place is an illustration of why I'm still using Airbnb. This place created the right mood for our trip and allowed us to meet wonderful new people and use their recommendations to enhance our experience.
