We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Teresa's beautiful cottage. Comfortable, clean, with everything you need, and with a stunning garden and surrounds, it was the perfect place from which to explore the Douro Valley. Our stay at this beautiful farmhouse in Armamar exceeded our expectations. It was a stunning location and about a 20 to 30 minute drive to some fabulous wineries (don’t worry the drives are all worth the views). We had lovely meals at two of Teresa’s suggested restaurants—Bomfim 1896 and Regional Fonte Nova. Our favorite wineries were Quinta Maria Izabel and Caves da Murganheira. There are two groceries nearby as well and Teresa has a fully stocked kitchen, so enjoy the day out and about and a quiet night in by the fire. We felt right at home!

Casa muito aconchegante e bem equipada numa localização fantástica para quem procura uns bons dias de descanso no meio da natureza. Perto tanto de Armamar, como de Peso de Régua, onde encontrarão diversos restaurantes para comer. A Teresa sempre super atenciosa. Recomendo vivamente para quem queira passar um Natal à lareira, longe da confusão da cidade.
