We got to enjoy both the lakehouse and the bunkhouse for a pleasant, relaxing vacation/part work week. Kathleen and John were lovely hosts. They had anything you could need stocked in the houses (coffee/ziplocks/etc.). There was even a humidifier in the bunkhouse to help with dry air, to which I was unaccustomed. Thanks.

The cabin is SO wonderfully quiet and comfortable. It has been carefully decorated and has many amenities to make everything relaxing.

This place is absolutely beautiful!! And while it’s exactly as shown in the pictures, the overall setting once you’re there is even better! We had the pleasure of having a late season snow that was so beautiful and calming!! The driveway had to be plowed - which was done each day as quickly as the weather allowed! I really appreciated the communication from our host about possible weather and when plowing would happen as this allowed us to adjust plans. We were there to visit family and enjoy the area. I will say that having a 4WD Surburban was helpful due to the snow. We would absolutely stay here again!

Foxhaven in the Forest was an absolute gem! Kathleen and John were fantastic hosts, and the cozy log house provided the perfect retreat. Despite a minor issue with the dishwasher, our stay was excellent. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway in nature. Five stars!
