Tulameen · 整套乡村小屋 · 1室5床1.0卫 · 可住6人 · Cosy family cottage in Tulameen, BC
A funky/fun 1960s vacation cottage In the heart of the village of Tulameen. Simple but comfortable, the cottage is conveniently located about 2 blocks from the Otter Lake Provincial Park beach and one block from the General Store. We rent by the week ONLY in July and August, with all check-ins and check-outs on Saturday. The cottage is very suitable for a family with a private bedroom on the main floor (double bed) and two separate sleeping areas in the second floor/attic. The attic area has a double bed in one area and bunk beds with a single bed in the other area, the two areas separated by curtains. The main floor living area, full kitchen and dining area are all one contiguous area that is warmed by a cosy wood stove, for those chilly evenings. A short hallway leads to the private 4 piece bath with tub/shower combination. The beds all have quilts and pillows but guests are to provide their own sheets, pillow cases and towels. The cottage is cleaned prior to each stay but guests are expected to leave it reasonably tidy with dishes washed etc. We do NOT rent the cottage in the winter months. The cottage is closed for the winter after early October and does not re-open until late May.
Tulameen is so cool we had an amazing time at the Cabin it has everything you need. Thankyou
This place is so cute! The location is amazing - just a few blocks from the beach. My sister and I stayed there with a nine-year-old and a two-year-old and there was plenty of fun stuff for both of them to do. It was one of the most lovely family vacations we’ve ever had. Three nights was not enough. We’d definitely stay longer next time.
The Kettle Valley Railway trail is just across the street. The cottage is situated on one of the nicest corner lots in Tulameen, with majestic Ponderosa Pines surrounding the cottage.
No public transit. A bicycle is a great asset to bring along for cycling the Kettle Valley Railway.
自我介绍
We are long time residents of Quadra Island, having raised a family here and lived here since 1993. However, we did spend 2 years sailing to Mexico and back, from 2006 to 2008, along with our daughters. I am a semi-retired Biologist and my wife, Leslie, was a Park Ranger prior to raising our family. We are animal lovers and keep quite a menagerie including miniature goats and chickens. Our small dog is in "charge" of protecting the chickens from predators such as Bald Eagles. Our oldest daughter works as a Biologist in Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta while our youngest recently graduated from University in Kamloops and is a Registered Vet Tech. She is currently employed with the Calgary Humane Society. We especially like meeting guests that enjoy the outdoor recreation that Quadra offers including hiking, kayaking, biking and lakes and beaches.
