環境與這個歷史悠久的房子讓我們感覺很好。 在台灣幾乎沒有這麼老歷史的房子維護很好與使用中。 我女兒對此非常有興趣。 我們是因為結束冰島旅遊返台前，而搭機第一次來到Gatewick這地方。 房東的接待與接送都很好。房間與衛浴都相當的乾淨與舒適。 我們到的當天因為與在倫敦的朋友碰面又搭錯車比較晚到。對於想要去當地附近女兒有興趣的地方，Richard也提供了相當詳細的交通選擇與時間安排的建議。 Richard分享了他們旅遊經驗以及一般飯店與透過airbnb民宿的感覺。這個我頗有同感。 Lissey熱切的招待也令我印象深刻。 我女兒比較害羞，不太敢用英文回應。 但她對於自己選擇英式早餐，由Lissey準備的，蠻喜歡的。 當天因為女兒太累了以及還要收拾整理返台行李，沒有太多時間在這個有趣的房子附近走走。 希望以後還有機會!

Vanaf de reservering t/m ons wegbrengen door onze gastheer naar de airport in één woord: Geweldig! Geboekt voor onze laatste nacht in UK ivm onze vroege terugvlucht vanaf Gatwick om even bij te komen van de drukte in Londen. Heerlijke bedden, luxe badkamer, zeer gastvrije ontvangst, gezellige, lieve mensen, die ons uitnodigden voor de thee. Mooie gesprekken met hen gehad. Het was alsof we werden opgenomen in de warmte van een familie. Prachtige tuin en een authentiek goed verzorgd, knus landhuis.
We loved our stay with Richard and Lissey!! They were very kind in transporting us to and from the airport, they even let us check in early because of an early flight in! They made us feel right at home with afternoon tea, and even packed us breakfast as we had an early flight out the next morning. They gave lovely suggestions for things to do around London. I will recommend this to anyone I know traveling to London, and hope to come back for a stay!!
Richard and Lissey were so lovely and such great hosts. Their accommodation is great for the airport. Richard even offered to take us to the airport and that we could leave our car there for a very reasonable amount. I thoroughly recommend staying with Richard and Lissey's homestay. Lissey even gave us a perfect picnic breakfast. We will definitely tell friends.

We are a married couple, with 3 daughters, all of whom have left home. We have lived at Manor Farm since 1984 having bought it off Lissey's Dad. Lissey lived here from 16 to 21 and we had our wedding reception here in 1973. All 3 daughters are married and we have 7 grandchildren. Our middle daughter who married in 2008 also had her reception here - real dejà-vous and she and husband Fraser have Ella, Monty and Alfie. Our eldest, Lucy married Andy in June 2015 and they have a daughter, Mia and a son Charlie and the youngest, Helen married James in April 2013, and they have a daughter, Poppy born in March 2015 and finally a boy, Harry born in September 2017 . We both retired early. Me from Estate Agency and Lissey from catering. We love having the grandchildren round, as all live relatively locally. We are keen gardeners and have to be with this property, although I do manage to fit in a few rounds of golf and we do like our holidays and having sold our house in Brittany in 2017 we now look forward to our holidays being just that without having to cut grass & hedges and repair & maintain a property. We also like being Airbnb guests, having had a 10 day trip around England and Scotland by train in October 2013 staying in some delightful Airbnb accommodation. We went to my niece's wedding in San Francisco in April 2014 and then drove up to Vancouver and the whole 2+ weeks was in Airbnb. In 2016 we went round the world using Airbnb and friends staying in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji & the States for 2 months - a trip of a lifetime. We repeated the trip again, but this time for 3 months in early 2019.
