Every once in awhile you come across a stay on Airbnb that is truly memorable. This is one of them. Forget the row houses, it is worth coming to St John's just to stay here! I felt so welcomed by Nicole & Jody, I was instantly in love with this room, and this property, the moment I arrived. The home is like a museum of antiques, oddities and curiosities- everywhere you look there's something new to see. I could have happily never left the house, sitting at the desk in writing looking out at the yard, on the back deck or in the living room reading. The bed is SO comfortable, I could have laid in all day! And there is still lots of space to move around in the room. The house is centrally located in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to all the places of interest, and there is a great selection of places to eat and drink nearby. A very comfortable stay, true Newfoundland hospitality with wonderful people. It will be a sad day when this airbnb disappears! A true gem!

Jodee and Nicole’s home is a true home - a welcome energetic shift from boxy, sterile hotel rooms! They’ve put much energy into decorating it and making it a place of refuge and welcoming energy. Super friendly hosts with deep roots in the area!

We felt super comfortable sharing Jodie and Nicole’s funky home, and we enjoyed looking at the many eclectic collections and art, and loved listening to them briefly playing music. Nan, the dog, is a friendly & sweet wee darling. We appreciated Jodee’s extensive knowledge of Newfoundland and his recommendation for session music at the local pub, just down the street, where we had an absolute hoot of an evening.

Jodee’s home is the most unique space I have ever been in. The Newfoundland culture came shining through! Disappointed to not have met Jodee and Nicole (musicians on tour!), as I read many reviews on their amazing spirit and gracious hospitality. Nonetheless, my stay was perfect!
