wonderful place to stay. convenient to local shops and dining. we were there for the weekend for a Horse Trial. very convenient to FENCE. clean and comfortable.
House is very cozy and perfect for a family stay for a reunion. Beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a touch we were not expecting and greatly appreciated. Excellent, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and nicely furnished. There was a slight issue with a toilet and the owners were super responsive and had it fixed immediately. This is privately owned by local owners that are always available. Our 2nd time staying here and will do so again.

Retired from the Navy Nurse Corps after 23 years, but still enjoy a lifetime interest in horses and riding - which is what got us to this equine mecca! I also love old houses, flower gardening, traveling and good times with friends, and it has all come together right here in our little corner of paradise - the triangle of Landrum, Tryon, Columbus. This delightful and charming area prompted my sister to ask, "Where do you live, Mayberry?" To which I responded, "Absolutely, Mayberry on steroids!" Interesting people from all parts of the country, friendly helpful locals, many outdoor activities as well as live theater, a cute local movie house, arts, crafts, antiques, wineries, golf, boating, and equine sports of all kinds. There is a lot of fun crammed into our little corner, and we love it here!
