Bruce's chalet is a lovely and cozy little retreat from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. We loved curling up by the fireplace and it was a very quiet and peaceful stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a spot to stay in the area. Great communication as well!

Lovely place with great views. Spotlessly clean with everything you need. The full size washer and dryer were a big plus. Bruce is very responsive. Definitely recommend this place.

We stayed at Bruce's place for a very cold week in March with our toddler. The chalet had everything we needed--two separate bedrooms (with a very comfy bed in the master!), a well stocked kitchen including a great variety of spices and herbs and a brand-new dishwasher, a gas stove, and a lovely common area. The gas fireplace was great both for ambiance and for thawing out by the fire after our outings. The one day that we couldn't go out because of windchill our toddler found a cabinet full of duplo lego blocks, which were a lifesaver that day and for the rest of the trip! The driveway was well plowed despite us coming in after a day of snow and not a problem at all with an AWD vehicle. For comparison Pinneo Hill Dr, the street the GPS sent us through after we stopped in town to pick up dinner, was both steeper and less well groomed and we would've avoided it if we'd followed Bruce's directions from the highway. Hanover is only 15 minutes away with good takeout options if you don't feel like cooking. Don't forget the hot cocoa :).

Great place to come back to and relax. We spent the day skiing and the nights warming up by the fire. Would definitely recommend
