Mildred ‘s appointment is at good location, near to many good restaurants and the supermarket. The rooms are clean and well maintained with beautiful views of mountains
First, Mildred’s place is great. Bright, airy, clean, extremely well-equipped with a great bed, top shower, with lots of personal touches and examples of lovely generosity. Second Mildred herself is great. After 9 years of hosting, she’s has figured out what her guests want and you can tell she loves being a host. She was extraordinarily welcoming, helpful and flexible when we made a boo-boo on our check out date. All in all one of our best Airbnb stays!

Mildred's place was fantastic! The first thing that struck me was the affordability without compromising on quality. The space was incredibly spacious, giving a sense of freedom and comfort throughout my stay. Its proximity to attractions was a huge plus - I could easily access the main spots without hassle. Cleanliness was top-notch, making it easy to settle in right away. What's more reassuring was the safety measures in place, allowing me to relax and enjoy my time without any concerns. Overall, this place offered a perfect blend of affordability, space, proximity to attractions, cleanliness, and safety, making my stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great value stay in a convenient location!
Exceptional value for money when you stay at Mildred’s place - she is the definition of a super host! So attentive and thoughtful and we appreciated her flexibility when our flight was delayed, and also to check out late due to a night bus. The apartment itself - we were blown away by the stunning views, and the place itself is spacious and comfortable. We slept brilliantly in the bed which was much needed after a flight delay and an early start the next morning. The kitchen was very well equipped with more than just basic salt and pepper available. Mildred’s hosting stands out due to the personal touches and the attentiveness in her communication. We felt safe arriving late with her taxi driver picking us up - Gonzalo was very helpful. 100% recommend staying her if you are in Quito - you will feel cared for and get to relax in a lovely apartment, and get to meet a wonderful host! I was born in Quito, Ecuador. Ever since I was a child, I traveled through different countries in North, Central and South America. I studied in bilingual schools, hence I learned English there. I married a Canadian and lived in Ontario, Canada for 12 years. Seven years ago, I joined Airbnb and I very much enjoy having guests from different countries and cultures. I love welcoming my guests and explaining things about my country. Further more, all my life, I’ve liked making handicrafts. Nine years ago, I took a jewellery class and it became my passion. After that course, I began searching for original and innovative materials to use. My search led me to the Amazon region of my country, where I learned more about the tagua nut, which is being reintroduced to the world as an eco-friendly alternative to elephant ivory. From the tagua nut, people have learned how to sculpt figurines and beads for jewellery. I take my inspiration from the shapes, colors and textures of the tagua nut. And that is how, in 2004, I began to make my own exclusive tagua designs.
