This is a clean and comfortable property. It was perfect location for birding at Freeze Out Lake. I was disappointed that there was not any coffee for the morning as the town has limited opportunities.

Quiet, clean and comfortable place to spend the night on our way to see the birds at Freezout Lake. Enjoyed out stay!

Our group came specifically to see migration of birds at Freezout Lake, and for this purpose (and price) the location was excellent. Restaurants (we found just one) are very limited in town so check closing time. Our room had funky bedside reading lights - one did not work at all, and the other needed to be plugged in and unplugged from the wall socket to work. A couch or sitting chairs in the main common area would be a great addition. The tiny kitchen table in the massive dining room was funny - it seats only four. All of the mops and brooms, etc. in the corner could be tucked away in a closet? Do not expect a well-stocked kitchen... this place seems like a cross between a hotel (where nobody works) and a hostel. That said, our group did not need to prepare meals. We occupied two rooms and had the place to ourselves for making morning coffee. Will definitely come again!

Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and worked well. We rented one room and my family rented the other four rooms so it was nice to all be together. We do wish there was a place to gather and hang out in the house, much like a hotel will have some couches, etc to sit on. This place has two small tables, the size of card tables, so we didn't have any space to really be together, although that still matched the description of the place, just would have been nice for visiting. Instructions said to take out the garbage if full, which it was, but we didn't know where the garbage was. We were not able to locate it, that might have been from the heavy snow storm we got the night before we left as well. Also if you stay any time soon be aware there isn't anywhere to eat. One place was closed and the other didn't open up on Saturday so did have to drive about 16 miles to another city to eat. Overall it was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Anyone who is planning a visit to Glacier NP should consider staying here. It's just a short drive from the east entrance and is an ideal base from which to explore the area. Peter is the consummate host, is very responsive and leaves nothing to chance. Bonus feature - the starry skies once the sun sets are awesome!
