Having been to the Algarve several times now, Casa Das Colunas was without doubt the best we have stayed at. The house, gardens and terraces are beautiful, exactly as described and in a perfect area to explore further or go to Lagos town easily. Joao was an excellent host, with a simple check in and the welcome gift of fruit and wine was greatly appreciated and enjoyed! We loved this place and hope to return on our next visit; we will be checking availability for later in the year. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at Joao’s place. The architecturally designed house is beautiful as are the grounds. We enjoyed morning coffee on the east facing patio and afternoons on the lounge chairs in the garden. We rented a car during our stay to explore the Algarve and found Lagos to be an excellent home base. The location of Joao’s place is adjacent to the many walking paths of western Lagos and the views of the ocean are great. It’s also a short walk to the beautiful Dona Ana beach. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. We highly recommend Casa dos Colunas to anyone looking for a stay in the Algarve.

We loved our one month stay in Lagos. We enjoyed the views from the house and the sound of the ocean , it truly felt like home . We loved the location as it was in walking distance to everything you would ever want to do Lagos . Our host was always very responsive to any questions we might have . I would highly recommend this property to anyone who enjoys nature and peace and quiet

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Joao’s place. He was very helpful and had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the hair dryer and paper towels😘. I loved doing yoga every morning with the view of the ocean. We were able to walk everywhere which made our visit stress free. We will definitely stay there again if we ever come back to Lagos. I highly recommend this perfect house.😃🥰

Ein wirklich besonders schönes Haus, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ausgestattet mit allem, was man auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt. Es entspricht voll der Beschreibung und den Fotos. João ist ein sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und schnell reagierender Gastgeber.
