Lori was awesome at responding and providing extra directions and feedback on preferences and plans etc. For future guests it might be helpful to note that the bedroom and bathroom doors upstairs do not latch at all, old house with creaky floors, none of the windows have coverings on them, even curtains of any kind. Plan ahead with eye masks. The master bed is very firm and we had a hard time getting restful sleep, but for the most part, it was fine and the ample provision of pillows and blankets made things extra cozy! The hosts own a bakery in the town and were so sweet and provided baked goodies upon our arrival! Awesome to have breakfast covered!! Overall, grateful to our host and glad for a quiet, retreat to rest at in between activities.

Wow! This was the perfect place for my husband and me to get away from it all and get some time to think and pray. Spacious and full of light from all the windows. Charming decor and all kinds of surprises like puzzles, books, unique antiques and pastries! It was very clean. I was walking around in white socks and was shocked to find that, even with all the wood floors, my socks were clean on the bottom. That can’t be said for many places. The big bathtub was wonderful. I also really enjoyed exploring the path from the house to the small fields and around the woods. I heard there was another down the hill that didn’t explore. We were close enough to the Ark encounter and the Creation museum and enjoyed driving the curvy roads and seeing the barns / farms. (Go to Beans coffee/cafe near Ark) Lastly, check in was flawless, the host was very responsive and I enjoyed hearing how the host’s mother cared so much about finding all of the treasures for the house. Excellent Air Bnb!

Our stay at Lori’s was wonderful! It was a great experience to stay in a stately, historic home that had plenty of space to gather with our friends for meals and visiting. The nights were quiet and peaceful! We appreciated the path to the pond as we enjoyed the outdoor space as well.
