A spacious, well designed, comfortably furnished home set in a grove of trees that are open enough to offer a great view of the Port Orford dock and filtered views of the ocean. Interesting art throughout. It’s a great location just off the highway though that means there is a fair amount of road noise when outside. Chris was a responsive host which is greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful view and comfortable well stocked house. We loved the back lawn looking to the harbor. Really amazing setting and location to town!!

Chris has been living on the South Coast of Oregon for over 46 years with his wife Julie, who passed away in March, 2022. Chris is a glass artist and Julie was a ceramic artist. Together they built Redfish Loft above their restaurant, Redfish. Next door is Hawthorne Gallery where they show the work of the talented Hawthorne Family as well as the work of internationally recognized artists. In addition, Chris now offers The Upper and Lower Port View Bungalows, stand alone ocean view buildings in the forest, not far from the Loft and Port Orford's Battle Rock Park. For more than one couple or having the need for a larger Ocean View home with all the amenities, The Port Orford View Home is available, all through AirBnb. Thank you for considering us.
