This home is bursting with character! The bedroom and sitting area are nice and private and just a few minutes from the water. Very peaceful and quiet.

Ishtar and Pete offered us a very friendly and warm welcome indeed to their home, a wonderful space and opportunity to relax and unwind. The accommodation is absolutely as described - clean, colourful, very quirky and interesting with lots of great energy. We parked right outside and there were lovely touches like our own tea and coffee making facilities and towels that are offered. Lots of media options available - TV with loads of films to choose from, books to read if you like and also DVDs. Ishtar and Pete will offer lots of great local knowledge and recommendations for places to go, eat and see if you need them. Their location means easy links into central Liverpool by train, although New Brighton is very appealing in itself with lots to do and see, interesting history and also upcoming from a culture perspective. We visited a local art exhibition and chatted to local artists, took in the interesting street art that is all over New Brighton, went “mermaid hunting” and had a really tasty Sunday lunch after our Wirral half marathon event at a locally sourced restaurant which was only a couple of streets away that Ishtar kindly recommended to us. We also enjoyed the close proximity to the promenade and lighthouse for beautiful sunset walks and dinner/coffee. Comfy and relaxed weekend - even with our half marathon included! Thanks again Ishtar and Pete. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay.

The Hosts at Ishtar were exceptional, accomodating, friendly and approachable. My expectations were greatly exceeded. If your looking to fill your lungs with fresh brisk sea air, enjoy walks on the promenade and around the heritage of New Brighton, then this is the spot. Plenty of space for two people to acclimate to, a creative space to generate inspiration with two comfortable sleeping options. Loads of reading materials for the book worm. A hidden gem. You can't go wrong. They're awesome. I hope to be back again. Enjoy your stay.

Such a lovely stay and kind and welcoming hosts. House was truly amazing- great location (close to train station and less than 20 mins into Liverpool) so unique and made our trip to Liverpool that much better :) Thankyou!!
