Tiny and quiet town in vicinity to Blagoevgrad,a town with two universities, vast choice of restaurants and cafes. There are many places to visit and go for a day walk. Near Kocherinovo just 40 minutes drive is the biggest and oldest monastery in Bulgaria,Rila Monastery. It is very easy to reach the monastery even by bus from Rila town. There are small food shops near the house just a 3 min walk and a bakery with traditional breakfast pastry.

Parking near the house is not a problem just outside by the steps/entrance. Bus going to Blagoevgrand is in every 1 hour from the bus stop which is 3 min from the house. The house doesn´t have other buildings attched and it is quite safe area,though keeping windows and doors locked while not in the house is preferred. The kitchen is on the first floor and having the window open when not in the house is not recommended.
