Et veldig fint hus med mange små detaljer og gamle skatter fra gården. God seng og flott bad. Birgit hadde gode tips og hjalp oss med alt vi trengte!

First of all I would like to say that the contact with Birgit was very nice! She answered very quick to all our questions and we had a very kind phone call during our stay with Birgit. She send us all the needed information so that we found everything at the house very easily. When we arrived everything was prepared for us and the house was very clean. The beds were very comfy so we sleept extremly good during our ten day vacation. Kitchen and livingroom (directly next to each other) were nice to hang out at. It was pretty cold weather but Birgit put electrical heaters in the rooms so we could easily heat as needed. The house is like a museum with a lot to look at and to discover. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The farm is absolutely beautiful and wonderful decorated. Birgit and her son were very friendly and accommodating and helped us with everything from salmon fishing to locating my ancestor's farm. We were made to feel very much at home and just like family. I would highly recommend the Urstad Farm.

We stayed two nights in Brigit's lovely house. Birgit is a very friendly host. The place is clean, and beautiful decorated with antiques which used to belong to the farm centuries ago. She also has a museum, but unfortunately we didn't have time to take a look at it. To stay here is a unique experience. If I'm in the area again and need a place to stay, I will definitely come back.
