This unusual 1915 house provided us a comfy overnight stay on a long road trip. We spent a relaxing evening and slept well. Kara is a warmly welcoming host with interesting stories about house and area.

Three Oaks is a quiet, cozy spot for relaxing while in Valley City. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are nicely furnished. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and appliances for fixing a meal or entertaining a few friends. The 'parlor' is great for cozying up with a book! Great hospitality! The host is friendly and helpful. It is convenient for walking to the downtown area and to the college campus. Don't miss the bridge by the college! I look forward to returning!
A comfortable bed in a quiet neighborhood. Kara was friendly and helpful. All communication went well and Kara greeted us upon our arrival.

I am married with 3 grown kids, 6 grandkids, and had 2 furbabies who both passed from very old age in the summer of 2105. We adopted a new fur baby in the spring of 2016 whom we are thoroughly enjoying. I like to read, garden, bake & do crafts. Hubby & I deliver Meals on Wheels most days, volunteer at church and the Senior Center, are involved in ham radio, and enjoy woodworking and working on our old houses. My favorite saying is one I learned in high school. "Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans".
