Beautiful place. The bush babies were such an amazing experience and being able to get so close to zebra, kudu, warthog, bush bush, duiker, impala and a myriad of bird life was something special

Great place to spread out and relax after a drive at Kruger which was so close. We saw many animals from the veranda - kudu, monkeys, Impala, wart hogs - fun to feed. Very private. Host was very responsive -would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Desmond's place was fantastic! The house was great, nice patio, pool and braai area plus it was kitted with all the utensils etc that you'd need. Nadja was really helpful and we'll definitely be back!

The good: Milkwood house is very nice and amazing. The pictures the host placed online do not do it justice. The beds are comfortable, safe drinking water is provided and rest assured the animals will visit you. I suggest more then 3 days. You'll be in a wildlife sanctuary and the animals will come to your patio and door! Most of them love bread. The host is very kind an accommodating and we would go again. We stayed in Kruger afterward and wished we had been more in the Milkwood house. It's an easy drive into Kruger to see the big 5, but still have amazing wildlife sneak pass your windows while you relax. There is a downside. We learned after booking that wifi costs and when we got there, we could not find a router to use wifi at all. This was hard for us since we have been traveling for 8 weeks, we depended on connections. But in the end, you choose the house to have the connections with the wildlife, not the Internet, so it was a fine trade. We did have a water main break while we were there, but it was repaired within an hour or so. Firewood is provided as well as a maid. The maid comes for about 4 hours everyday. She does great job and we trusted her.
