Massimo's apartment is on the first floor (no lift). The apartment contains a lounge room with two settees which could be used as beds, a main bedroom, a bathroom (with washing machine), and out the back a living room and a small kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge and a gas stove top with an oven. The walls are decorated with a series of framed prints from various art galleries, which gives the whole apartment a "lived in" feel, rather than bare walls. The kitchen and living room have windows facing out onto a large car park belonging to a series of apartments. This area is wonderful because it has many beautiful mature trees. There is negligible noise from the cars themselves. In general the whole area around the apartment is quiet, both on the street side as well as the car park out the back. The neighbours were also very quiet. I stayed here for a month, by myself and loved it. I think this apartment would be suitable for a couple or a family with two small children. The apartment is well-equipped and everything works. Massimo is the perfect host. There are all the practical things needed when one first moves into an apartment such as soap, dish-washing liquid, sponges. Massimo is very kind and always available to sort out out any problems that may arise. I hope to return to Lucca and when I do I would always want to stay in this apartment. Massimo is happy to let guests use some of the bicycles if you wish to join the typical Lucchese and cycle around the city or out into the country. Massimo is rated as a "Superhost" on the Airb&b website and deservedly so.

Massimo was the most kind and generous host we had on our long extended holiday. The apartment looks over a tranquil garden scene with glimpses of people walking and riding the city walls. It was cool and fresh even in the heat of August, with screens on the windows and ceiling fans. As a family of five, we found the apartment had everything we needed to live comfortably. The kitchen was well set up for cooking meals and there were lots of comfortable chairs to chill out and read. Lucca is a wonderful place to visit and we highly recommend booking this Airbnb.

3 jours passés à Lucca chez Massimo. Appartement idéalement placé près des remparts et du coeur de ville. Massimo est un hôte fantastique très prévenant, accueillant et toujours disponible. Il nous a en outre donné pleins de bons conseils pour notre visite à Pise et sur le bord de la mer. Son appartement est plein de charme et très équipé pour une famille de 4 personnes. Vous comprendrez que nous recommandons très chaudement cette adresse ! Christophe

Lejligheden lå perfekt i Lucca - tæt på centrum uden larm fra nattelivet. Lejligheden var godt indrettet til en familie på 4-5 med større børn. Massimo var en god vært. Han mødtes med os ved bymuren og kørte vores ting til lejligheden (man skal have tilladelse til at køre i byen) og viste os hvor vi kunne parkere gratis. Der var også fyldt i køleskabet med drikkevarer og stillet frugt og slik frem.
