Idilic place and private beach and great views. Water sports equipment excellent so could stay on beach all the time if weather allowed. Easy access via ferry to Salcombe and great walks especially to Gara rocks. Need to be careful when parking though as stone ramp can catch car. Comfortable living accomadation.

Lovely location. Private Beach and boat shed. Nice view. Beautiful walks. A relaxing break away. Our Dog loved her first visit to the beach! make sure you spray and frontline as there were a lot of ticks. The only complaint would be we landed up further cleaning on arrival as it wasn’t well cleaned and we felt we left it cleaner than when we found it on departure.. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful week with our children. The location is idyllic and the access to the beach incredible. The house has everything you need for a very comfortable stay and the views are outstanding. We adored it as did our family. Their boat house has everything you could want for the beach which makes it so easy. Perfect for a young family! :-)

Stunning location. We went during Easter. The boathouse is the icing on the cake for this property and really makes it stand out. The location on the beach, items to use in boathouse -bbq, hot shower, wetsuits, dinghy, paddleboards etc is fantastic, I can only imagine during the summer what fun it would be!! One thing is there is really NO shop facilities nearby or in easy reach, ( ie you would need to allow 45/50 mins round trip to get to co-op shop in salcombe if you need anything) we travelled with a 1 year old & 3 year old so you really need to be prepared with supplies. Also we struggled to get table bookings. Gara rock the nearest hotel was not open for any non residents the entire weekend so I would suggest if you have young kids you really need to plan/book well in advance especially if going during busier periods. The beach was absolutely fantastic and with a nice coffee van at the car park which did fab crepes & the village farm cafe worth a visit which is at top of hill!

An astounding location...truly breath taking.. 2 minutes from the most stunning beach. The house is well equiped and you can tell that it is a real family home and not just for holiday guests..There are lots of games to play and when we had problems with the hot water it was sorted straight away
