This is our 5th or 6th time staying at 'La Posada' and it never disappoints! Merle was a great host, was easy to communicate with and had everything ready to go upon our arrival. I would highly recommend a trip to Pine Creek and a stay at 'La Posada'!

Merle’s place makes you feel like you’re at a family cabin. Very homey. We arrived with the essentials, unsure of what we needed to bring, and were pleasantly surprised to see we way over packed. So many items that we didn’t even think of and those that we did. It’s not fancy, but it’s very clean and well kept. We spent most of the weekend outside, making all of our meals on the campfire (we brought our own grate and cast iron). We were already planning our next visit back before we even left.

House is next to the rails to trails. Lots of hiking nearby. If you like to fish it’s all there too. House was nice. (Don’t forget to bring bedding and water) Water isn’t drinkable. House is described exactly its rustic. Amazing view from cabin looking from back yard. It was very quiet and dark.

Me and my friends had a fantastic time it was a beautiful area the views of the mountains, changing leaves and the great outdoors. Beautiful and peaceful great place to escape for a while

Great cabin with excellent river ("creek") view. Perfect setting. As long as you don't expect a kitchen with granite countertops, or a tiled shower you will be pleased. This is a rustic cabin and very clean and cozy.
