A truly unique house to visit and with immense character and charm. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a south coast getaway with plenty of room for friends and family to sprawl throughout the house. The house itself, being the iconic architectural home that it is, was surprising in that a very small number of the finishes and fixtures were outdated, such as the small and simple showers, one of which unfortunately was receiving hot water. The visit would've been made more comfortable with linen and towels being provided, other than that it had everything you could hope for. Two kitchens, fireplace, games, ping pong etc. Paul was super friendly and accommodating with an early check in and late check out, can't ask more of a host really. Some great memories made, a must go for all.

This is an incredible building! Beautiful weather and Paul was incredibly flexible and allowed us both early check in and late check out (as there were no bookings either end). He called us earlier and mentioned there would be some minor in-progress maintenance items which was completely fine and we hardly noticed. With 10 people the value is great and what an honour to stay at such a remarkable building. The beach is 10 mins walk away and the grounds were so well kept and incredibly private. We would love that opportunity to stay here again.

The house is situated on a green opening overlooking the ocean and surrounding bushes, in a quiet corner of the world. The only visitors are inquisitive native animals. Sadly we only encountered kangaroos and some local birds during our stay because our main activities were elsewhere. Only a section of the outside civilisation is visible through gaps of trees. The architectural masterpiece capitalises nature resources in terms of rainwater, sunlight and sea breeze, which makes it almost completely self efficient. It does require the occupants to be more proactive in managing the methods provided to maintain a comfortable living condition. The interior is spacious and well utilised. The occupants are relaxed by just sitting there admiring the surroundings. The appliances are very complete. The biggest issue on a warm weather stay might not be heat but bugs which are attracted by lights to the glasses in hundreds. Fly screens must be utilised. I wish that we could stay a bit longer.
