We were surprised and delighted by "The Quarters." It was wonderfully cozy, filled with character, located in a gorgeous little Victorian town, and situated right in the middle of downtown. Our hosts were very nice, completely responsive, and even accommodating to our requests. But most of all, we were delighted by the generosity of the experience. There was chocolate on the beds, fresh eggs in the fridge, music playing when we arrived, and even spa-quality amenities, from the shampoo to the toilet paper. Comfortable beds, great linens, plenty of fluffy pillows. We had a wonderful time, and we plan to return!

What a relaxing, enjoyable stay in a unique and comforting home with just the right blend of retro decor and modern amenities. Walkable to anything in Ferndale--restaurants, parks, stores, etc. The grounds are lovely, too--will bring better weather next time and will enjoy them more! Kitchen was well-equipped if you wanted to cook, and there are lovely chairs and sofas to enjoy a good read and a cuppa. Perfect location for enjoying the Lost Coast or redwoods. Don't hesitate to reserve both the barn and the quarters if your group is larger. Can't wait to return to this high-value gem. Thank you Caroline & Stuart!
