Treehouse B&B Chakte is so much more than the average Airbnb. The location is peaceful and beautiful. The rooms are surrounded by the incredible plants of the jungle and wildlife. The thing that makes this place so special is Sebastian and his family, who are gracious and generous hosts. Sebastian took us to a secret local beach, with clear, warm water and we were able to swim with fish where the ocean meets the river mouth. All of their food is locally sourced, home made and delicious! On our last night, we were invited into the kitchen - which is the heart of the Treehouse - to the help prepare and share traditional Mexican food. It was great to taste the different food and learn about which ingredients go well together. It was also interesting to hear Sebastian talk about his beekeeping and preservation of ancient Mayan bees, and we were able to taste the honey. The whole stay was a fantastic experience and a great opportunity to experience living like a real local.

Posto bello ma purtroppo data la vicinanza con la strada e il parco avventura vicino erano abbastanza rumorosi. Sebastian e famiglia erano splendidi e il luogo è veramente stupendo. Colazione fantastica (forse un pochino cara). Esperienza nel complesso molto positiva

Sebastian and his family were wonderful hosts, and their place is so peaceful! The room and communal areas were so comfy, meals were made with love, and he gave us great recommendations for local cenotes/beaches to visit. We couldn't have asked for a better way to end our trip. Will definitely return! <3

On ne pouvait pas mieux terminer notre séjour par cet endroit paisible et reposant. La chambre est très spacieuse. La salle de bain, décorée avec goût style savane on a adoré. Nous avons été accueilli par la Maman de Sébastien qui été d’une gentillesse incroyable (mon petit coup de cœur ❤️). Les parents ont été très attachants et très serviables. Nous avons pu nourrir les singes de nos mains avec des bananes. Pour ma part, la meilleure expérience de mon séjour ici au Mexique. Un grand merci à cette famille de nous avoir vivre des moments uniques. Excellents produits cuisiner avec amour par Sébastien et ses parents. Nous nous sommes déplacé en collectivo. Logement facile d’accès, à deux pas d’xplor park(que je recommande pas), xcenses… Petite attention de la part de la Maman à la fin de notre séjour, très touchante.. 🥺♥️

Great little place to stay away from the resorts. Sebastian and his family were wonderful hosts and wonderful cooks. I encourage everyone to try a dinner and breakfast cooked by them! Having a rental car is very helpful as it is not in a walkable area.
