We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in de art studio. Het is een klein maar super gezellig authentiek huisje! Prachtige ligging achterin langs de mooie oude kerk met een eigen omheind tuintje, ideaal voor onze honden. De omgeving was super rustig en middenin de natuur, fantastisch voor lange mooie wandelingen. Onze lieve buurman Cameron was ook geweldig, hij toonde ons de weg om naar de pub The Red Lion te wandelen en we konden alles aan hem vragen. Mark reageerde ook snel bij vragen via berichtjes en het was makkelijk afspreken. Wij komen graag terug!!

The accommodation itself is very pretty and set in lovely surroundings with a beautiful private garden. The downstairs sitting room is very inviting and cosy. The upstairs bedroom is sweet, however it is very small, it is just about possible to stand up straight in the middle of the room (standing on the mattress which is on the floor). The bed linen was not comfortable, it was quite scratchy and two of the pillows did not have pillow cases on them. The bathroom was described as being a few paces from the accommodation but it is a bit further than that. It is accessed up a very steep outdoor stair case, which has security lighting that comes on when you go up the stairs, but the lights do not come on when you leave. I hadn’t taken my phone with me so I had to descend the staircase in pitch darkness and I nearly fell. The bathroom itself had not been cleaned (there was even black mould which came out of the soap dispenser). This accommodation would probably be better in the summer.

A beautiful gem located in a picturesque countryside. A perfect find. Quirky, cosy, tranquil, with everything I needed for my stay. Mark was super friendly and kind and approachable - thank you! Spotless shower facilities - very enjoyable long hot shower and I secretly loved my little mid-night toilet trips - all part of the fun and i cannot wait to bring my wife. Thank you for making my solo stay perfect.
