We are airline employees who love to travel. We found Salt Lake City to be the easiest airport to travel in and out of with car rental conveniently located at the airport. Several ski resorts are within a 40 minute drive from the airport. We chose to focus on the eastern side of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains ... where The Canyons, Park City and Deer Valley resorts are located. This location is excellent for outdoor activities in any season, not just the winter. Why the Owner Chose Private Homes: We chose this particular location because of its easy access to/from an International Airport and the availability of year round outdoor activities. The Unique Benefits at this House: The property is spacious with an open floor plan with space to spread out. We enjoy the opportunity to ski at Deer Valley, Park City, The Canyons and Sundance. The 2 weeks of the Sundance Film Festival is especially enjoyable. Snowmobiling at Daniels and Park City. Mountain biking and hiking in the mountains; Concerts at Deer Valley; Several Golf Courses in the area. Boating, wind surfing and jet skiing at Deer Crest and the Jordanelle. Note about reviews: We use multiple booking agents for our rental. When there is a booking from a booking agent other than Airbnb there is a need to synchronize calendars. If an instant booking is made on Airbnb before this synchronization occurs, meaning that the dates are already booked from one of the other booking agents but has not yet been blocked on Airbnb, then Airbnb penalizes us with the automated review of, "The host canceled this reservation ....".
