Great stay overall—Jess is friendly and communicative and looks out for the people who stay at her place. If you choose to stay here, do be prepared to put in some work chores-wise.

I had an AMAZING stay at the treehouse. It’s a quick 10 min walk to the light rail. It was cozy and it felt like home. It’s perfect for a solo traveler. The bathroom is split with shower on one side and toilet on the other which is great so no one really has to wait to use either, and the kitchen has everything you might need if you like to cook. There are also mini-fridges if you need them for storage. Everything was clean and ready for my stay which I greatly appreciate since I came in late after several delays. Jess is an amazing host and I can’t give her enough praise. She does a great job at being responsive and reaching out when needed. She is a lovely person who loves to teach, cook, and go on adventures. I had a lot of fun helping her around her property and learning about her garden, taking cold swims in the lake, and chatting over dinner. She makes AMAZING green sauce and pesto, and she has become a really good friend. I’ll miss staying with her!

I loved staying with Jessica for my month-long rental. The treehouse cabin was everything I needed it to be. A lovely room nestled under swaying trees with blooming flowers and garden surrounding it. I really enjoyed the outdoor living space, as well as meeting Jessica and the other long-term guest. Jessica made me feel right at home, was always responsive and helpful, and went above and beyond in sharing her home and space with me. For the value, you can't beat this place. I loved staying here!

I truly loved staying at Jessica’s treehouse! Jessica is a kind soul and treated me like family from day 1 - I have stayed in multiple airbnbs since I started traveling while wfh but staying at Jessica’s felt like I was staying with a caring relative rather than a stranger. You get full privacy in your little room but the outside shared area is set up to where you also have a chance to socialize with Jessica and the guest from her other listing so you won’t get lonely. The place had everything I needed for a long term stay while wfh. Jessica was very responsive and helpful if you ever needed anything, she even offered us one of her bikes to use! Bonus: She is an amazing chef and may share some with you if youre lucky. She made us homemade raviolis one night, as well as homemade sesame bagels, and yummy cookies. I would love to come back to Seattle area just to stay with her again (and of course play with her cat Oscar again!) Some highlights: - beautiful garden. Jessica kindly shared some of her delicious raspberries, plums, tomatoes, and kale/greens fresh out of her garden and those were a real treat! (I don’t think I can eat a tomato from a store ever again…). Her place is beautiful, I enjoyed being outside in the sunshine while working. Would love to have a place like that of my own eventually. - Her place is accessible, about 10-15min walk to the nearest Link station (where there’s also Safeway for groceries) and about 20-30min ride on the train to downtown. Bus ~5min walk. Close to a park and a lake.
