Me and my husband and our 9 year old daughter (from Sweden) had a wonderful stay during our 3 weeks in July. We wanted a quiet beautiful place where we could relax, cook and just enjoy doing nothing. We got all that. Our daughter loved the pool that was constantly taken care of by Elena. There are 3 apartments in the house and we were lucky to be all by ourselves the first 12 days. But even when other families arrived one at the time there was no problem sharing the big space outside. We rented one of the two 2 bedroom apartments. It was nice, clean and spacious. Elena has been great with us, always attentive and kind. I speak Italian so for me it was also great to get some practice. Her English is good though. We could visit the animals, chicken, goats and rabbits just next to the house any time and the bigger animals, cow, pigs and donkeys assisted by Elena. We went to Florence a couple of times (We recommend to take the train and leave the car by the train station in Borgo San Lorenzo). We also visited small villages around the area, bought great food directly from a farm nearby and simply enjoyed a stress free life in Italy. The road up to the house, which is located up in the mountain, is narrow but charming. There are several beautiful viewpoints along the way up. It’s about 8 min drive from the main road. Nearest foodstore (Coop) is in Vicchio, 15 min drive. We highly recommend this place!

The descriptif is logement entier where the hause is composed of 3 appartments ... Very high on the hill....

Il posto è davvero incantevole ed Elena e Franz ci hanno accolto sorridenti invitandoci a vivere il luogo. Abbiamo potuto aiutare nella raccolta delle olive ritrovando un momento di socialità nel lavorare insieme (più che un lavoro un gioco ed una scoperta per i bambini), accarezzato gli animali della fattoria. A due passi da Barbiana abbiamo anche colto l'opportunità di attraversare le terre di Don Milani, figura incredibile ma troppo dimenticata.

Elena a été très accueillante toujours disponible le logement et bien conforme à l'annonce bien équipé très propre il se situe dans les hauteurs de Toscane avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée la piscine est très agréable
