Lugar mágico, como de cuento de hadas … tranquilo, seguro, inolvidable …. Sin duda regresaremos, mi familia y yo disfrutamos cada momento. La cascada que tiene la propiedad es maravillosa, luego de una caminata muy entretenida y divertida… “General” el caballito que pasa ahí es una belleza, tuvimos todo el tiempo visitas de hermosos colibrís de la zona… Desayunar en familia, en un ambiente maravilloso, es todo lo que uno necesita para descansar.

The chalet in Mindo is remarkably beautiful and peaceful. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the birds and nightly sound of frogs and the river this place is exactly that. It's a 20 min walk to Mindo and doesn't have access to a cab as an option. When we inquired about a cab pick up we were told to walk to the main road and find a cab, however, the main road is 15 min walk so you might as well just walk to town. So if accessing town is a priority the location is a little difficult. However, if you want to be secluded and in nature it is perfect. It is also located near the cable car and other "natural sites." We personally like dthe location, but found getting to dinner a bit harder than we wanted it to be. The check in process for us was a bit of a mess, but I only think that was because Dominque was out of town when we arrived, I think it normally would go rather smooth with her there. She is highly responsive and helpful. She did arrange for us our entire taxi needs.

Dominique's place in Mindo is the most beautiful setting for a peaceful stay. The house was cute, clean and perfect for what we needed. The road to get in is a little bumpy, but so are many of the roads nearby--so just be prepared with a vehicle that can handle that. Dominique was very helpful and quick to respond if we had questions. Waking up in the morning to the gorgeous hummingbirds on the deck and the majestic horse roaming the property was a treat. The place is a quick short drive to the butterfly conservatory nearby and into town as well. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here and had serious regrets about not staying longer on our way to the coast. The house is even nicer than the photos - it is truly a magical place. We enjoyed the additional breakfast - I highly recommend this delicious option so you can enjoy breakfast on the porch. Dominique and staff were available for all our needs and ready to help us maximize our short stay. I sincerely hope to come back again to this beautiful corner of the world.

Nuestra estancia en el Chalet fue hermosa, es un espacio muy hermoso y rodeado de naturaleza. Dominique fue muy comunicativa y nos asistió con información importante. Muy recomendado, sin duda volvería a este espacio.
