We loved staying at this farm house! Merre was a wonderful host and when we arrived there was fresh bread baking and a carton of eggs from her free range chickens in the fridge. Incredibly comfortable beds, lots of space, well equipped kitchen. We loved being near the animals. THE CATS!!! We loved the cats. They are outdoor only so don’t worry about allergies. It was cold outside or else I think we would have spent all day outside petting kitties. Far enough from town to be truly peaceful but close enough that it was convenient. It’s rustic with the patina of a well loved home. We stayed here to be close to the hospital during a family emergency. It was a very sad time for our family but this farm stay really was a bright spot in our trip to Joplin. Highly recommend!

A lovely farmhouse style getaway complete with chickens and farm cats (never indoors, just lovely to see the animals through the windows!)! A unique and charming home; such peaceful surroundings and comfortable rooms. Loved that all the bedroom windows had shades that could be pulled for privacy/darkness. A very enjoyable stay!

This was a beautiful space to celebrate Thanksgiving weekend with my children and grandchildren. They loved seeing the cats. The fresh baked bread upon our arrival smelled so good and delicious and the farm fresh eggs were awesome as well. Great place

Our volleyball team stayed at this home during a 3-day tournament. The girls roamed on the land, played in the creek, and loved on the cats. Inside the home, there was plenty of space to sleep and spread out when relaxing. The home was quite charming. The host was absolutely wonderful! She was helpful, welcoming, and responsive when we texted. The only thing I would have changed, and it wasn't a huge deal, is that we weren't able to take food outside to the numerous seating areas because the cats were on the food in an instant. We ate inside. :)

Ms. Merre was a wonderful host, very kind and attentive, she welcomed us and made us feel right at home. The place is wonderful, peaceful surroundings and beautiful country living !! Absolutely loved this property.
