Right next to the house, there are cafes, restaurants, shops, fish market.
We have a few beaches over here. One which is just in front of our house is a very small one with sand mixed with antique stones. There are others, bigger ones, and some very special ones if you take your car. You can also dive in the sea, you can have trips to the inhabited islands and stay there for the whole day on the beach. When you swim here in the sea, you see the old city buried under the water. You can go fishing with the fisherman, or walk to the small island to catch some sea-urchins to eat. So, if you decide to stay here, do bring your sea shoes because there is a small island to which you can walk in the middle of the sea on a very small path, but there are lots of sea urchins on the path so you have to have a sea shoe in order not to get hurt. You can catch them to eat, the both sides of the path you will have 15 to 40 meters of depth, with a city buried under your foot while you are swimming!
It is strictly forbidden to touch anything under the sea except the fish!

There are mini buses running frequently in front of our property, to take you around Ildır. The closest areas to our house is Alaçatı and Ilıca. Alaçatı (15 minutes from our house with your car) is a very touristy place and in summer specially during the nights, you can't even walk in the streets because there are so many people. But it has one of the best surfing centers of the world. Just 10 minutes to Alaçatı, you have Ilıca, the famous beach. And again 7-10 minutes to Alaçatı you have Çeşme, the town with its castle.

If you like some exceptional surroundings with calm and village life, you will love here. If not, the beach disco's and big and small beaches are all over the shore and with your car you can discover them.
