I loved staying at Serena’s place ….by far one of the best places to stay while in Florence. Great neighbourhood and away from the business of the inner city . The train was very easy and only 2 minute walk to the appartment and 5 mins to Centro Novella . I walked into Center a couple of times and it took 30 minutes and a lovely walk . Serena was prompt in answering questions and left a folder full of detailed information about everything to do with Florence which I found extremely helpful and I’ve been here a few times . I’d definitely stay here again as the appartment is spacious and cosy with a full kitchen .

Serena's place was definitely the cherry on the cake of our brief stay in Florence. It was also nice to know she was close by in case we needed anything. We would definitely recommand Serena as a host and her flat is a little gem. Joëlle

Serena has prepared a very detailed guide that covers everything you need to enjoy Florence. In addition, she promptly answers any questions you might have about anything. The apartment is clearly a home that has been lovingly lived in and cared for by her family. We highly recommend Serena’s apartment if you have the opportunity to visit Florence. Thank-you Serena! This will be your home away from home in Florence. It is removed from the hordes around the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio, but you are a short walk from the train station that takes you to Santa Maria Novella. Serena is an extremely responsive host, and the place is spacious and comfortable. In Florence, do the rooftop and terraces tour of the Duomo early (like 9 am) before it gets crazy-busy. Try to get out of town on a day trip to Lucca or Arezzo, among other quaint places. Do a small group winery tour and see the beauty of the Tuscan countryside. Walk -- many things are within your reach that way, and you get a sense of the many neighborhoods that make Florence special. We felt like locals staying here, and you will too. Or as someone said, you are not tourists but travelers. We felt privileged to stay here for 10 full days.
