Isabella is an amazing host and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and perfect as possible. The flat is beautiful! It has 2 balcony’s and plenty of space and everything you could possibly need. It’s in the perfect location, a little bit away from the centre so you get a goods night sleep but within short walking distance to the bustle of Cantania. The car cafe opposite is lovely. Couldn’t recommend Isabella and the stay enough, she gave us loads of tips and even helped us with a parking spot for our scooter. Really flexible with check in and check out times which was so helpful as we had a late flight out. Loved it and can’t wait to come back!!

great appartment, everthing as described. clean, spacious, nice balcony, and everything you need is just outside the door: café, supermarket, bakery, bus and metrostation and it is a short walk to the old part of the city. we had a very warm welcome and any help we needed was gladly provided. i would recommend it without hesitation! thanks again for a nice vacation!

The flat is great if you want to feel a real Italian apartment vibe - it has high ceilings with frescs and traditional tiles on the floor. In my opinion it looks better than the pictures suggest. It’s spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. There’s a washing machine and lots of storage space. I loved the neighbourhood as it’s not touristy but a place for the locals. It’s so much fun walking the streets and watching Italian everyday life. Nearby is a nice bakery and well-equipped supermarket. Vis a vis the flat is a lovely cafeteria D’Alessandro with tasty arancino or granita and friendly waiters greeting you in Italian. From the flat you can take a 15 minutes walk to Villa Bellini and have the best canollo in Savia. I would definitely visit Catania again and stay at Isabella’s.

Abbiamo soggiornato in casa con il nostro bambino di due anni, è stato un soggiorno molto piacevole: la casa pulita, comoda, spaziosa, luminosa, con un balcone e delle finestre grandi, cucina con tutto il necessario come il bagno. La cordialità, la disponibilità e la gentilezza della signora Isabella ci hanno fatto sentire a casa!!! Siamo felici di aver trovato questa possibilità di soggiorno a Catania, la riutilizzeremo ancora!

This is a wonderful apartment in a great location, and Isabella and her family are some of the warmest and most welcoming hosts you could ever hope to encounter. I stayed for a month and, of the three apartments I stayed in in Catania, this was by far the best. The apartment is stylish and well equipped with a nice terrace away from the road. The neighbourhood, although only 20 mins' walk from the very centre of the city, is calmer, less touristed, and perhaps more liveable (depending on one's tastes) than the downtown area proper. In the immediate vicinity is a well-stocked supermarket just 2 mins' walk away, several bakeries, and a range of other eating places. Overall, I would recommend this apartment very highly indeed.
