Niall and Alf's place is certainly in a lovely location but unfortunately that is where the positive review ends. Upon entering there were issues - mouldy smell, broken blinds, paint flecks off walls, amenities listed (hot tub) non-existent. However, that wasn't the worst of it. Upon arrival co-guests moved a child's bed to a different room to accommodate their party. This wasn't replaced to the original room upon check out - for which they apologised. This appears to have set something off in Niall. The result was a string of abusive messages and phone calls where he swore at us and used racist language. Suddenly all the faults at the house were pinned on our group. Being a host myself I have never been subjected to such treatment. I was shocked. He has been reported to Airbnb who are investigating. By rights they should remove this listing. But if they don't, and if you are reading this, I highly recommend avoiding this host.

Great family orientated house with excellent facilities and space ideal base to explore Kerry. Beautiful blue flag beach a couple of mins walk away. We miss it already and just back !

My family and I had a wonderful week in Ballinskelligs. Niall and his family Could not have been more helpful and supportive. The house had everything we needed and more. So close to the beach and village so everything was in walking distance. With sunshine, this location was a little piece of heaven on earth! We enjoyed the long bright evenings in the garden with bbq’s. We are already planning our next trip!

Great spacious home and bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. The toys were a great bonus for our kids. Our daughter's enjoy an amazing horse riding outing at a bar by beach. Picturesque setting with a beautiful beach on the door step. Would recommend for a peaceful week away.
