My space is close to activities for families; visits to wine producers, boat trips, monuments, landscapes, walks in the middle of nature especially among green vineyards in spring and summer and more colorful, red and orange in the autumn. Vineyards that are a World Heritage Site! You will love my space because the views are very beautiful and the environment very calm and peaceful. You can wake up with the birds chirping and staying at night on the garden with the stars ! This place is unique for its beauty and tranquility. In spring and summer everything is green with many flowers all around us. In the autumn the vines win cheerful colors: red, yellow, orange. The terrace is great for dinner in the late afternoon so that during the spring you can sunbathe or listen to the crickets at night while admiring the stars and enjoying a good Port.

it's was a delight staying with Maria's place. She gave great suggestions of things to do in the area . she made me feel right at home. Hope to come back again sometime
C'est un très bel emplacement. Nous avons eu des soucis de connexion d'internet, nous devions être sur le seuil de la porte d'extérieur et le réseau était très faible. Il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude dans la douche mais il y en avait au lavabo. Malgré tout Maria fut une excellente hôte.
A Maria foi uma excelente anfitriã. O quarto era limpo e confortável e o lugar super tranquilo. Obrigado Maria!
We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s picturesque guest house. The views of the surrounding grape vines and olive trees made for a beautiful and unique stay. Maria is very kind and helpful during check-in and for local recommendations. We would absolutely stay there again!
Nous avons adoré le logement atypique proposé par Maria On accédait aux 3 pièces (chambre parentale, coin cuisine et salle à manger) par l'extérieur La terrasse très agréable et tranquille faisait le lien entre ces pièces. On a eu beau temps ce qui nous a permis de bien en profiter Logement proche de la vallée du DOURO que nous avons découvert en randonnée Magnifique!!!! La randonnée au départ du logement de 5 kms est très belle

The village consists of nine houses and two streets ... it is very quiet, the people are friendly, the scenery is beautiful!
The traffic is somewhat deviated from the House; here you can only wake up with the noise of the birds.
Cafes, restaurants, museums only at Santa Marta de Penaguião ( at 5 minutes) , Peso da Régua ( at 7 minutes), Lamego ( 12 km) or Vila Real ( 25 km).
There are few public transports. Twice during the morning and twice during the afternoon.
Meanwhile it is very easy to get a taxi; Peso da Régua has a train station and there are buses to Lamego and Vila Real.

I did studies on Administration and foreign languages. I love to meet people, to travel, cinema, books and cats.I live in a very little village on the heart of Douro Valley. I like to be a host and I 'm always thinking at my guests.I know very well the Douro Valley and I like to give them suggestions .I'm able to prepare them a natural orange juice to give them when they arrived tired but excited with the landscape.
