We had a great experience at this airbnb! Machado and Omi were great hosts and made us feel comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed! Nice cooked meals as well as refreshing drinks. They always made sure to get us the transportation we asked for and provided us all the security that we needed. Thank you for making our stay a great one! Will def recommend them!

The house, grounds, amenities and location of this property are terrific. Close to Havana, but in a lovely, quiet, beach neighbourhood, within easy walking distance to a hotel, a couple of small supermarkets, some outdoor craft/souvenir/food vendors, and of course... la playa! What made this week truly special for my family (of 8) was the unassuming, warm, knowledgeable and always helpful ways of our of our hosts: Omi, Machado and Pilar. Omi and Machado (who were available 24/7) made us feel like family, and took great care in helping us plan outings, calling to arrange for transportation, and just answering any/all questions we had about Cuban culture, food, language, history, etc. We feel truly blessed to have spent such an amazing week in the company of such wonderful people. We will be back!!

We were looking to find a nice, large, well appointed house with some great amenities in a good location - what we found was a terrific house, amazing staff, the ability to relax, have fun and enjoy ourselves. The house provided adequate space to accommodate the 6 of us. The air conditioning made sleeping at night very comfortable. The staff were always attentive and wanting to ensure we had the best time possible and bring/get us whatever we needed. They also did our laundry...a bit of a wow factor. We wanted traditional Cuban fare for lunch and dinner and it did not disappoint. We brought oatmeal for the kids and Omi deftly made us egg white omelettes and large carafe of high test coffee! The house was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. Although the pool isn't heated - it was still warm enough for the kids to swim in all day and yet cool enough to offer a refreshing break from the heat. We really enjoyed the outdoor living space as it afforded us to eat outside, rest, nap, play while being together yet also affording us some individual space (someone could read quietly and away from the action in the pool). It is a little further than I thought from the airport (approximately 40 mins) but only 25 mins from old Havana. You're basically looking at 25 CUC for a car one way to Havana. We felt VERY safe - as the house is well secured, staff are on the premise 24/7 and they have an alarm system. Nobody should have any concerns about safety whatsoever! The walk to the beach is indeed a nice little stroll. About 5 minutes down the hill. There's a great little beach bar that serves great lobster and fish, they have cold beer, juice, wine, ice cream and, of course, mojitos. It's a great break from the beach or if you're looking to spend the day at the beach - an nice break half way. The house comes with everything except alcohol - which I'm sure they would be happy to arrange for you should you contact them beforehand. As the house can accommodate up to 10, you could imagine providing drinks to all could get costly. But then again, a bottle of rum can be purchased for 6 CUC. The hotel that is near the beach has a great little cigar shop that also sells wine, scotch, rum, and a little souvenir store/tuck shop in the hotel also sells toiletries, some snacks and of course souvenirs. They can also exchange money for you. Please know that USD get hit with an additional 10% penalty, so bring Euro's, CAD or other currencies to make your dollars stretch further. I would highly recommend this house to anyone with young children, someone who is looking for a getaway with family or a place to just be together with friends.
