A simply fantastic base for a visit to buzzing Berlin! We were six - and everybody loved the flat and the rooms. The views from every room were outstanding and if you do not go in for great heights, probably as good as the 'TV tower' but without the fear-factor. Everything is right there: reasonably-prized shops for everything you might need (plaster, toothpaste, bread, fruit... you name it) - the Hackescher Markt station - the thrills of some of Berlin's major sights. Can you hear the trains?! Yes, but the comments were 'soothing', 'I'll miss the sound' from my party of five discerning friends. As the one who'd booked I was keen to make sure people felt happy about my choice, and it received universal praise. Do reviewers write about things like 'was there toilet paper'? There was. Everything worked - better than at home, and the beds - all individual for us (no couples, just friends) - were comfortable and warm.

This apartment was ok to stay at. The location is central Berlin and trains, trams, busses and sights and attractions are all within walking distance. Lots of food and shopping are very close by or within a few minute transit ride. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything needed. However, this apartment does have its flaws. This is not someones home, this is an apartment that gets used as a short term rental. First thing is there are no actual beds with mattresses. All 3 rooms have, what can be best described as long Ikea ottomans that have foam toppers on them. I am 184cm tall and weigh 86kg and I found them to be barley adequate to sleep in. The apartment was tidy, but not what we would call clean. It wasn't dirty but the standard of cleanliness is low. All bedrooms face the train station so there's a lot of noise with the windows open, when they are closed you are fine though. There is no common area either. One of the bedrooms, if unoccupied, acts as the common area.
